I used to write a blog over at girlsandbicycles.ca for a while but, it's not me anymore! I'm now publishing the current Sarah Chan here.

I wear a lot of hats. I teach music; play in a ukulele cover duo with my sister, Sable; and, have two wonderful kids! I like riding my bike and am a long time advocate of active transportation.
For a more comprehensive rundown of some of my social advocacy work, here is my bio:

Sarah Chan (MA) is a teacher, musician, social advocate, and mother of Dexter and Alice. She makes her living running a full time private piano studio of 42 students. She is also partner to Edmonton’s mayor, Don Iveson. Sarah created and leads United Way’s youth initiative, and sits on United Way’s 2016 campaign cabinet as co-chair with Tom Redl of Chandos Construction. She is thrilled to complete a second term in this role as cabinet co-chair in 2017, with Carman McNary of Dentons LLP.

If you're a fan of lists, Sarah is also a Big Sister with Big Brothers, Big Sisters; She was Honourary chair for The Works Festival Gala; Honorary Patron for YESS; A grateful user and advocate for Edmonton Public Library, and board member of Anthology; Member of the Mentor team at Peter Lougheed Leadership College (UofA); And, a member of Apricity, a not-for-profit group that is working with Boyle’s Street’s H.E.R. Pregnancy Program this year.
